Course Description

This course is at least eight hours long and includes both classroom instruction and range time focused on learning to shoot rifles. Students will learn essential skills such as:

• Rules for safe gun handling
• Rifle parts and operation
• Ammunition knowledge
• Shooting fundamentals
• Range rules
• Shooting from various positions: bench rest, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling
• Rifle cleaning and maintenance
• Continued opportunities for skill development

This comprehensive course is designed to give participants a strong foundation in rifle shooting and safety.

Students Will Receive:

• Completion Certificate

Note: No ammunition is allowed in the classroom. Please lock it in your car, and we will retrieve it when necessary.
